Twins

Llandysul a’r Fro and Plogonnec have been twinned for
many years. The similarity of the villages, located in rural and
agricultural areas with an indigenous Celtic language were some of the
conditions in the choice of the twin towns. |

Where are the twin towns : |
Llandysul
a'r Fro includes Llandysul and the adjacent villages. There
are no precise limits to the Fro (territory).
The number of inhabitants involved is more or less the same as in
Plogonnec. Llandysul is localised in Plogonnec is a rural commune of 2806 inhabitants (census of 1999) extended on 54 km². A commune is an administrative unit of the French state. It is localised in the south of Finistère, a department in the West of Brittany.
